Spanish "Golden Visa" for non-EU property investors
On the 30th September 2013 the Spanish government has approved a law to award visas for non-EU property investors where the minimum investment is above 500,000€. There are many other criteria to which an applicant must comply to, such that they do not have a criminal record, they must be over 18 years old etc
In such qualifying cases the visa application process is fast-tracked before a single authority, and takes into account the applicant and their family. Not only does the visa offer residency in Spain, but also the free travel throughout the 26 countries in the Schengen area.
