Alicante Festival of Classical Guitar 2016
For the fourth year the Auditorio de la Diputación de Alicante (ADDA) presents it’s 6 month classical guitar festival featuring 7 concerts from international musicians. Thickets are on sale online at http://www.instanticket.es/, by telephone 902 444 300 and at the ADDA box office.
The festival opened this year on 9th January with Grammy award winning solo classical guitarist David Russell from Scotland.
In the coming months 6 more international musicians take to the stage.
Stefano Grondona – 6th February
Recital with works from Johann Jakob Froberger, Domenico Scarlatti, Ernst Krenek, Miguel Llobet, Enrique Granados, Manuel de Falla, Benjamin Britten e Isaac Albéniz.
Ignacio Rodes – 27th February
Alicante born Ignacio is considered one of the best guitarists of his generation. Concert with works from Robert de Visée, Johann Sebastian Bach, Salvador Bacarisse, Quitín Esquembre y Joaquín Turina.
